Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable to Meet September 9th
Lori Hodin, LSRHS Safe Schools Coordinator and psychology, will discuss the Teen Summit, The Courage to Care, held last spring at LS.
After a summer hiatus, the Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable will reconvene on Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at 3 PM in the Community Meeting Room of the Wayland Public Safety Building located at the intersection of Routes 20 and 27 in Wayland. The agenda will feature Lori Hodin, Coordinator of the Safe Schools Initiative and psychology teacher at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, who will discuss the very successful Teen Summit “The Courage to Care” held at Lincoln-Sudbury last spring and co-sponsored by the Roundtable. The agenda will also include the planning of the 2014-2015 Calendar of Activities.
The Roundtable is a community based non-profit organization dedicated to promoting safe and healthy relationships, raising public awareness about abusive and controlling behaviors whether exhibited through bullying, teen dating violence, domestic violence, or elder abuse, and ending relationship violence in all its forms. We pursue these goals by educating our communities, supporting agencies that provide services to victims of abuse, and mobilizing community leaders.
