This Sunday April 5 at First Parish of Wayland

Please join us at 10:00 a.m. for Easter Sunday service

Easter Sunday!

Please join us at 10:00 a.m. as the Rev. Dr. Stephanie May delivers a sermon titled β€œIn That One Word.” The sermon explores how love transforms and restores all lives β€” even those that are bruised or broken. The phrase is also central to an original musical composition that will have its debut on Sunday. Composed by our own Ted Pease, Distinguished Professor (retired), Berklee College of Music, the piece for brass, organ and voices draws on writings of Lydia Maria Child, 19th century abolitionist and women’s rights activist who attended First Parish.

To end our Service we will sing Handel’s β€œHallelujah Chorus” as the postlude. Everyone is invited to sing along, either joining the choir in the choir loft or singing from below in a pew. Come listen, sing and enjoy!
