Sunoco Robber Made Off with Less Than $1,000
The man who robbed the Sunoco in Wayland got away with less than $1,000.

Wayland police are continuing to search for a man that robbed the on Main Street Saturday morning.
Police responded to the gas station at 19 Main St., at 10:09 a.m. Saturday, after the on-duty clerk reported the robbery. ().
Det. Sgt. Jamie Berger said the clerk reported that a man entered the store and handed her a note demanding the store's cash. There was never a weapon displayed and the clerk complied with the robber's demand, handing over less than $1,000 from the cash register.

After the man left, the clerk called police.
The suspect is described as a white male of small or medium build and between the ages of 20 and 30. He was wearing sunglasses and a white or tan hooded sweatshirt, according to a police press release.
