Three Wayland residents graduate from The Rivers School in Weston

Wayland residents Elizabeth J. Andre, Scott J. Correia, and Alexandria Sidell were among 93 students to graduate from The Rivers School

WESTON, MA— Wayland residents Elizabeth J. Andre, Scott J. Correia, and Alexandria Sidell were among 93 students to graduate from The Rivers School in Weston on Friday, June 10.

Elizabeth Andre served as a Spanish teaching assistant and participated in the school’s summer immersion program in Spain. She was a Red Key admissions tour guide and vice-president of the school’s Debate Team. A Scholar-Athlete Award recipient and high honors student, she was co-captain of both the cross-country and track and field teams. The daughter of Rebecca and Mark Foley of Wayland and David Andre of Weston, Elizabeth will attend the University of Richmond in the fall.

Scott Correia was a four-year member of the Debate Team and served as co-director senior year. He played a variety of sports, including soccer, hockey, and baseball, and received the Soccer Achievement Award this fall. A Scholar-Athlete Award recipient and high honors student, he was captain of the JV hockey team as a senior and enjoyed mentoring the younger players on his team. The son of Steve and Janet Correia, Scott will attend Lehigh University in the fall.

Alexandria Sidell, an honor roll student, was a dedicated member of the Robotics team and founding member of the Rivers Tech Team, a student group that offers tech support to their peers and faculty. She was also a four-year member of the girls’ varsity lacrosse team and three-year member of the varsity field hockey team where she helped the Red Wings to NEPSAC Class C championships in 2014 and 2015. The daughter of Scott and Pollyanna Sidell, Alexandria will attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the fall.
