Town Holds Electronics Recycling Week
Get rid of your old cell phones and other hand-held electronics.
Now is your chance to get rid of all those old cell phones and other hand-held electronic devices.
Wayland’s holding an Electronics Recycling program from April 11-18, when there will be collection boxes around town for old cell phones, smart phones, iPods, iPads, chargers and other hand-held electronics.
The effort also reassess money for the Jane Goodall Institute.

As the Wayland Police Department explained, the effort was initiated by WHS junior Anne Flaherty as part of her volunteer efforts with the Root & Shoots Youth Leadership Program, part of the Jane Goodall Institute.
Boxes will be located in the Town Building, Public Safety Building and all three elementary schools.
