Effective Monday, Aug. 25, Thompson Street will become a one way street going west to east. Thompson Street is a 2/10th of a mile, narrow, roadway that connects Loker Street and Rice Road. Vehicles on Rice Road will not be able to turn onto Thompson Street, which will be posted as "One Way, Do Not Enter." Motorists attempting to access Loker Street from Rice Road should go to the traffic signal at Commonwealth Road and turn right and right again onto Loker Street.
