WAYLAND, MA — Drivers, note a detour in Wayland this week. On Dec. 13, Wayland police are establishing a short detour on Pemberton Road between the hours of 1:30-8:30 p.m. to accommodate an expected large crowd attending the wake of former Wayland DPW Director Stephen "Stubby" Kadlik at the Bryant Funeral Home. All traffic on Pemberton Road will be detoured between Harrison Street and Shawmut Ave. Those attending the wake should proceed up Pemberton Road and follow officers and funeral home employees directions for parking.
