Urgent: Sophie needs a foster or forever home

Baypath Humane Society is urgently seeking a loving foster or forever home for a young dog in need.

Sophie is a darling girl who’s a perfect hiking companion. She’s a young hound mix who loves going for long quiet walks in the woods. She wants nothing more than to be by your side for some outdoor adventure and then curl up next to you. Pet her velvety soft ears and she’ll be your biggest fan!

She did live in a foster home in West Virginia and is already crate trained and is a well mannered girl. She’s an athletic girl; We think she’d excel at agility training or nose work. She’s a smart cookie who loves learning new tricks. She likes to show you how she can sit and “shake”. The foster parents she had in West Virginia adored her, and said she’s completely housebroken.

If you ask her if she wants to go out she’ll give you a bark to say yes! She’ll do best as the only pet and with children 10 & over. Sophie can’t live with cats (she’s too interested in them). She’s about a year old, healthy and is already spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
