Voter Rights Event Coming To Wayland Ahead Of Election Day

WAYLAND, MA — Election Day in Wayland is coming up on May 10, which means it's a good time to brush up on voting rights in Massachusetts. A Wayland synagogue and a statewide voter rights project will host an event on May 3 covering voting issues.

How easy is it to register and vote in Massachusetts?

Many options were in place during the height of the pandemic to make it easier and safer for Massachusetts citizens to vote.

How can we ensure all who are eligible in our democracy, have a voice and a vote…voting in person, early voting, absentee ballot, registration changes, address changes, are any still available? How easy is it to register or to change registration? Who is eligible and who actually votes in our state? What can we do to make sure all who are eligible can register?

The Racial Diversity & Equity working group (RDE) of Congregation Or Atid of Wayland invites the MetroWest community to hear Kendra Patterson, field coordinator and representative from Massachusetts Voter Table.
