Wayland Youth Lacrosse and Wayland High School’s lacrosse teams will celebrate Laxapalooza at the 2nd Annual “W Day” on Saturday, May 10th from 3pm – 7pm at Wayland High School. The day will feature entertainment for all ages, food and refreshments, fun scrimmages for players, Wayland lax apparel and lax equipment sales, raffles and an auction with lacrosse-themed prizes including signed gear and summer camps.
The entertainment includes an obstacle course, bounce house, inflatable slide and a radar LAX shot speed station in addition to face-painting between 3-5pm by WHS Girls’ lacrosse players. Food and refreshments will be available from the mobile Rick’s Café and an ice cream truck. There will girls vs. boys scrimmages, a Parade of Future All-Americans for the U9 boys and girls, mini-clinics with professional coaches and a Girls U13 select game vs. Natick. The celebration will culminate with the WHS Varisty Boys’ home game against Melrose at 7pm. Families are welcome and you don't need to play lacrosse to join in the fun. Come check it out!
