Warrant Now Open for Special Wayland Town Meeting

The Board of Selectmen voted to hold a special town meeting on Nov. 9. The warrant opens soon for this meeting.

At its most recent meeting, Wayland’s Board of Selectmen voted unanimously to hold a special town meeting on Monday, Nov. 9. at 7:30 p.m. at the Wayland High School Field House.

The warrant for this meeting opens on Tuesday, Aug. 25, at 8:30 a.m. and remains open through Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 4:30 p.m.

“In accordance with Chapter 36, Section 36-3 of the Code of the Town of Wayland, all articles for consideration and inclusion in said warrant shall be submitted to the Selectmen’s Office in the Wayland Town Building at 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, Massachusetts by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2015.”

The board also holds a petitioner’s workshop on Monday, Aug. 24, at 7:15 p.m. at the Wayland Town Building for any prospective petitioners to ask general questions, including legal ones, to Town Counsel.
