Warriors Work Against the Wind to Claim Title in Golf

Wayland’s golf team squeaked by second place Duxbury, shooting a 306 to cinch the Division 2 state championship during a windy match at the Glen Ellen Country Club on Monday, reported the Boston Globe.

Catholic Memorial, Concord-Carlisle and Hingham also made the top five.

Senior Nick Morgan shot four birdies over the final six holes to help the Warriors win the title, and George Mead also won by ten shots, reported the Boston Herald.
