Wayland 2025 Special Town Election Results
Only 6 percent of the town's 10,715 registered voters came out to the polls on Dec. 11.
WAYLAND, MA — The official results in Wayland's 2025 Special Town Election are in.
A total of 328 residents voted "yes" while 297 voted "no" on one ballot question, which asked the following:
"Shall the Town of Wayland be allowed to exempt from the provisions of Proposition 2 ½, so-called, the remaining amounts required to pay for the bond issued for the purpose of the construction of the facility for the Department of Public Works located at 66 River Road including accessory structures, related access ways, and all incidental and related expenses as authorized under Article 2 of the November 2013 Special Town Meeting?"
Only 6 percent of Wayland's 10,715 registered voters came out to the polls on Thursday, Dec. 11, to cast their vote. That's about 625 people.
