Wayland Announces New Electronic Check-In for Town Meeting
Voting made even easier.

Now, meeting voters don’t need to check out. Just drop that voting device in a bin when you leave.
That’s what the Electronic Voting Implementation Subcommittee (yes, there is such a thing) is letting voters know about. There will be a new electronic check-in system for the 2015 Annual Town Meeting on April 6, 7 and 8.
At it, registered voters head to any check-in station, give his or her name to the teller, and it is verified on the computer. The voter then gets a hand-held voting device.
