Wayland Annual Town Census Coming Soon
The Wayland census will coincide with the 2020 federal Census this year.
WAYLAND, MA — Wayland residents can expect to receive town census forms beginning in January. And this year, the town census will coincide with the federal U.S. Census.
The annual Wayland census is much shorter than the federal form, but it does collect information like voter registration status, nationality, occupation, and date of birth. You can find more information about the town census and why it's necessary on the town website.
Plans for the federal Census are already underway, and the federal government is hiring temporary workers right now. By April 1, every household in the U.S. will receive a census form, which can be answered online, through the mail, or on the phone.
