Wayland Boosters Launches New And Improved Website
The Boosters have doubled in size over the last two years, and are now celebrating with a new site.

WAYLAND, MA — Wayland Boosters celebrates 2017 with a new web site, which launched on Monday, Jan. 16. The new site — www.waylandboosters.org — is easier to navigate, and features up to date information about grants the organization has funded, news about the athletics community and sports teams, and links to various social media sites for Wayland athletics including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
The Wayland Boosters board has doubled in size over the last two years and the new web site is a part of that growth, said the announcement.
Booster president Maureen Tillett credits the larger board with initiating the new web site project and seeing it through to completion.

“Our board is committed to providing student-athletes with resources they need to perform optimally and the new web site fits right into that goal,” said Tillett in a statement. “We are all excited about the new web site and how it will improve on carrying out our organization’s mission and the service it will provide to the athletics community.”
The Boosters board went from eight members in 2015 and now has 15 members who help make decisions about funding grants requested by the middle school and high school teams and coaches, host Signing Day and Booster award ceremonies, sell Wayland apparel and provide Varsity jackets, pins, patches and certificates for student-athletes, said the press release.
