Wayland Business Association Folds After 37 Years
The Association said it just couldn't provide what people wanted anymore.

WAYLAND, MA—The Wayland Business Association has closed up shop after 37 years, according to reports.
The demise was the result of a decline in members, with only 23 members, down from 60 when President Linda Thalheimer originally joined, reports Wicked Local Wayland.
Thalmeimer told the Daily News that business groups are more specialized now and that business folks have less time for meetings, focused on helping initiatives that grow their bottom lines. Ultimately, she said, the group couldn't offer what people needed from it.
After reaching out for new members to join the Wayland group, there was no response.
