Wayland Celebrates the Holidays This Weekend

Join in the Wayland Center open house this weekend with a series of events.

Get together with community members and celebrate the holiday season together.

On Sunday, Dec. 6, from 2-5 p.m. at the Grout Heard House, the annual open house hosted by the Historical Commission features string a choral music, decorations by the Wayland Garden Club, Christmas tree decorated by the Girl Scouts and tea and treats.

The Wayland Public Library is also hosting a sing-along with David Polansky from 3-4 p.m. According to WaylandeNews, Polansky wore award winning songs for Christmas, Hannukah, and Kwanzaa. He’s got hundreds of songs in his repertoire, and you can sing along.

At 4:30 p.m., join your neighbors for some caroling on the steps of First Parish Church in Wayland with the New Horizons Band. You can also say hello to Santa and enjoy hot beverages.
