Wayland Church's Annual (And Big) Rummage Sale Is Back

The big sale is back!

WAYLAND, MA — It's almost here. Deal seekers and antique keepers, take note. The annual Wayland Rummage Sale is back on Saturday, April 1.

The First Parish’s annual Rummage Sale has been a Wayland institution since 1944 when it was introduced by the church's Women’s Alliance.

At the sale, you'll find top-quality toys, books and clothing for all ages, antiques, furniture, jewelry, linens, kitchenware and housewares, lawn and garden, small appliances and sporting goods. In The Dollar Shop, nothing costs more than a dollar (it certainly would be an inappropriate name if otherwise) The Bake Shop offers coffee and baked goods to enjoy while you shop, plus homemade treats to take home.

The gates open at 9 a.m. — at the stroke of the church's Paul Revere bell — and the sale closes at 1 p.m. Admission from 9-9:30 a.m. is $6 and then it’s reduced to $3. Children are free with an adult.

Except for several handicap parking spots, parking is NOT available in the church parking lot. Please park in the public parking lot behind the Wayland Town Building. A police officer will help visitors cross the street to the sale.
