Wayland Election Draws 7.5% Turnout With No Contested Races: See Official Results
The official results are in for Wayland's 2026 Annual Town Election.
WAYLAND, MA — The official results are in for Wayland's 2026 Annual Town Election.
Wayland's Town Clerk said there were 795 votes cast, which represents 7.5 percent of the town's 10,613 registered voters.
Residents voted on the Select Board, Moderator, Board of Health, Planning Board, Recreation Commissioner, Board of Public Works, School Committee, Board of Assesors, Trustees of the Public Library, and Commissioner of Trust Funds.

Here's who won those official town positions:
- Select Board: two terms
- Christopher Reynolds: 641 votes
- Bill Whitney: 636 votes
- David Watkins (write-in): 8 votes
- Moderator: one term
- Miranda S. Jones: 715 votes
- Board of Health: two terms
- Katie Stiff: 645 votes
- Jonathan C. Storer: 635 votes
- Planning Board: one term
- William Sterling: 655 votes
- Recreation Commissioner: two terms
- Mark Norton (three-year term): 665 votes
- Michael Grant (one-year term): 651 votes
- Board of Public Works: one term
- Jonathan Storer (write-in): 17 votes
- Doug Stolz: 5 votes
- School Committee: two terms
- Jessica Traue: 655 votes
- Prashant Shukla: 609 votes
- Board of Assessors: two terms
- Earl Zeligman: 653 votes
- Yiji Starr (write-in): 37 votes
- Trustees of the Public Library: two terms
- Aida Gennis: 688 votes
- Leah Hart: 678 votes
- Commissioner of Trust Funds: one term
- Robert Fox: 674 votes

Voting was held from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Wayland Town Building Gymnasium, and the town clerk's office released an unofficial vote count Tuesday night.
The town will now look forward to its Annual Town Meeting coming up on May 4. You can find more information on the 2026 Annual Town Meeting warrant here.
