Wayland Farmers' Market Opens Next Week

Find Local Vegetables, Herbs, Fruit, Meat, Cheese, Seafood, Baked Goods, Knife Sharpening and More

The Wayland Summer Farmer’s Market returns for its 11th year on Wednesday June 24th at Russell’s Garden Center from Noon-5 pm. and runs weekly throughout the summer until Oct. 7th.
Located in the front parking lot at Russell’s Garden Center on Route 20, the market is a wonderful opportunity to meet and support local farmers. Opening Day will include 24 vendors, many new to the summer market, including lots of fresh locally grown vegetables.
Summer is a great time to introduce children to healthy eating and cook together as a family. Enjoy fresh, local vegetables, fruit, cheese, eggs, meat, chicken and pork, seafood, honey, baked goods (including gluten-free), jam, jelly, soft drinks and iced tea, salsa, pickles, farm wine, yarn and dog treats. On the Edge Sharpening will be on hand to sharpen your knives, garden tools and scissors. We recommend that you sign up for our weekly email (in season only) so that you will know which vendors will attend that week, and if there is a special event planned. Go to russellsgardencenter.com to sign up online.
