Wayland Favorite Eatery Expanding Its Reach
The group opened a new spot in Wellesley.
WAYLAND, MA — A new pizza spot with ties to The Local in Wayland has opened its doors in Wellesley.
Firebird Pizza Co., located at 1 Forest St., officially opened last month. The new eatery, serving pizzas by the slice and by the pie, is owned by The Local Kitchen & Drinks, whose Wellesley restaurant sits right across the street.
In Wayland, The Local is home to Wayland Pizza Company, a takeout and delivery concept inside the restaurant.
