Wayland High School Football Player Named To All Star Team: Report

Max Dresens, a Bucknell commit and Wayland High record holder, made the list as a linebacker.

WAYLAND, MA - He’s won over five awards already, and now Wayland senior Max Dresens can add all-state all-star to his long list of accolades, according to reports.

The senior running back/linebacker hybrid was named to the Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association’s all-star team after another powerhouse season.

The Bucknell commit has been named all-conference and Boston Globe and Herald all-scholastic. In his junior year, he set Wayland’s single-season rushing record with 1,762, breaking the previous record from 2003, according to a report in the MetroWest Daily News.

He kicked off his senior year campaign with 153 yards and 3 touchdowns against Hopkinton, and Dresens also sealed a division win with a game-sealing sack against Burlington.

Dresens was named to the all-star team as a linebacker. His highlights can be found in his Hudl profile here.
