WAYLAND, MA — The Wayland Free Public Library closed its building on March 15, part of a wave of closures intended to slow the spread of the new coronavirus, COVID-19. But that doesn't mean you can't still use your library card.

The Wayland Free Library offers e-books and audiobooks on its website through the streaming services Overdrive and Hoopla. There's even free streaming movies available through Hoopla and Kanopy.

The library also offers access to online research sites like Consumer Reports and Ancestry.com. You can also access newspapers around the world, and even language instruction.

And if you don't have a library card, you can get one online to start using the resources. Librarians are also available by email (info@waylandlibray.org), and are still posting on the library's Facebook and Instagram pages, and the library blog.
