Wayland Looking For Firefighters/Paramedics

WAYLAND, MA—The Wayland Fire Department seeks qualified applicants to establish a list for fulltime Firefighter/Paramedic positions, the department announced recently.

The positions are for rotating 24-hour shifts that result in a 42 hour week over an eight-week cycle. Applicants must possess a High School diploma, a valid Massachusetts Driver’s License and a valid Massachusetts Emergency Medical Technician’s License. A Fire Science degree is preferred.

Compensation range, inclusive of base wages and paramedic stipend: $57,664 to $62,441 with comprehensive benefits package.
