Wayland on eBay: Photos, Woodblock, Even Deeds for Sale
Who knew a search for "Wayland, MA" on eBay would turn up so many items.
A flash of curiosity took us to eBay recently with one thing on our shopping list: Wayland.
We typed "Wayland, MA" into the search box expecting a couple of items at most, but were surprised when 43 items turned up.
We were even more surprised by the array of items ... ranging from $2.50 for a postcard of the Wayland Depot (when it was still a train station) to $225 for a woodblock that appears to depict First Parish Wayland (at least according to the seller). Compare that woodblock illustration to this postcard featuring First Parish (on sale for just $4.79).
Other items we uncovered:
- A 1917 paper ad for Homestead Campine Fowl Farm.
- An original 1875 map of Wayland and Cochituate.
- A bevy of Wayland High School yearbooks ranging from the 2000 version back to 1991.
- A set of 10 deeds related to the Gould family of East Sudbury (Wayland).
- A postcard depicting an old Wayland High School building.
