Wayland Police and Fire Log: Several Arrests and a Brush Fire (Feb. 9-15)

  • 63 Pequot Road; Feb. 10, 9:18 a.m. - The principal at Happy Hollow School reported catching three, fifth graders stealing.
  • 5 Ridgefield Road; Feb. 10, 4:06 p.m. - A car vs. utility pole resulted in one person being transported to the hospital via Advanced Life Support. See "."
  • 5 Stonebridge Road; Feb. 12, 6:24 p.m. - A brush fire along the aqueduct was reported. See "."
  • 361 Commonwealth Road; Feb. 13, 7:56 a.m. - Arrest of Cassiano DeOliveira, 31, of Framingham. Police stopped DeOliveira for an expired registration. He was placed under arrest for being unlicensed.
  • 65 Old Sudbury Road; Feb. 13, 10:15 a.m. - The cemetery manager reported the padlock was broken on the Holiday Road gate.
  • 3 Bent Avenue; Feb. 13, 4 p.m. - Arrest of Hector Vasquez, 24, following a motor vehicle accident. See the article "A Minor Car Accident, Multiple Charges."
  • 38 Cochituate Road; Feb. 14, 2:41 p.m. - Party came into the station to turn in found weapons.
  • 180 Commonwealth Road; Feb. 15, 8:23 a.m. - Arrest of Gail Destefano, 58, of 31 Hastings St., in Framingham. Destefano was charged with operating after a suspension.
