UPDATE: Missing Wayland Teen Found
Police are thanking everyone for assisting in helping to find Nia McKay, 14.

Update, 6:58 p.m. The Wayland Police reported on Twitter a short time ago that Nia has been found and is safe. “The Wayland Police Department thanks the public for their assistance,” according to the post.
Update, 4:07 p.m.: Wayland Police Chief Robert Irving reported that Nia McKay is still missing and that the department has called in detectives and a youth officer to assist.
Original post: The Wayland Police Department has issued an alert asking for assistance finding Nia McKay, a 14-year-old girl, who has been missing since last night.

According to the alert, Nia left her home on Commonwealth Road/Route 30 at around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015, to go for a walk. She hasn’t been heard from or seen since. Nia is 5-feet, 6-inches tall and was wearing a blue dress and a black sweatshirt.
Anyone with information about Nia is being asked to call the Wayland Police at 508-358-4721.
