Wayland Police To Host Citizens Police Academy

WAYLAND, MA — The Wayland Police Department will host a Citizens Police Academy this spring.

What - The Citizens Police Academy is an opportunity for those who live in Wayland to interact and learn about modern policing from members of the Wayland Police Department and our partner agencies. Topics that will be covered include Motor Vehicle Law, Constitutional/Criminal Law, Emergency Communications, Juvenile Issues and the law, Investigations and other selected topics.

When - The 2024 Citizens Police Academy will be held on February 28th, March 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th and April 3rd from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

Who – Open to Wayland residents. All participants must be at least 18 years of age or older and a CORI check will be required for each participant prior to the start of the program.
