Wayland Police Log: Arrests, Fights and Protective Custody (Nov. 29-Dec. 5)

  • 136 Main Street; Nov. 29, 5:36 p.m. - Altered vehicle inspection sticker reported.
  • 30 Dudley Road; Nov. 29, 6:04 p.m. - Received report of possible fight. Male placed in protective custody.
  • 50 Main Street; Nov. 29, 11:23 p.m. - Domestic dispute in a vehicle reported. A verbal dispute over a cell phone occurred. Male party was sent on his way and female part was transported to town line to meet Weston Police for transport back to Regis College.
  • Pelham Island Road; Nov. 30, 5:01 p.m. - Hit-and-run accident reported.
  • 8 Davelin Road; Dec. 1, 9:59 p.m. - Party found walking in the middle of Rte. 126. 
  • 120 Pelham Island Road; Dec. 2, 6:52 p.m. - Motor vehicle accident involving a moped. Person transported to the hospital.
  • 21 Bayfield Road; Dec. 2, 7:56 p.m. - Daniel Nadeau, 22, arrested and charged with willfully and maliciously damaging property. The arrest occurred after a woman called to report a verbal argument with her son.
  • 70 Boston Post Road; Dec. 3, 3:39 a.m. - Arrest of Donald Quinn, 70, of 20 Rock Ave., Hudson. Quinn was charged with operating under the influence of liquor after locating a "suspicious motor vehicle" at this address.
  • Waltham Road; Dec. 3, 10:14 a.m. - Lincoln Police notified Wayland Police of six "high-end sports cars operating at a high rate of speed" in the vicinity of Lincoln's Sudbury Road and Wayland's Waltham Road. Officers were unable to locate.
  • 7 Bayfield Road; Dec. 3, 10 p.m. - Report of a fight in progress outside the house. One person was placed in protective custody.
  • 8 Bent Avenue; Dec. 5, 4:57 p.m. - Caller reported possible checks stolen from mailbox.
  • 205 W. Plain Street; Dec. 5, 5:11 p.m. - Caller reported possible checks stolen from mailbox.
