Wayland Police Log: Arrests, Objects in the Sky and More (Dec. 13-21)

  • 3 Water Row; Dec. 14, 7:37 a.m. - Caller reported finding parts of a motor vehicle on the front lawn along with damage to the property.
  • 76 Glezen Lane, Dec. 14, 9:58 a.m. - Caller reported larceny of antique coins from the home. 
  • 197 Main Street; Dec. 14, 4:40 p.m. - Police arrested Scott Dixson, 45, of 44 Pequot Road in Wayland, according to a press release. Officers responded to Wayland Middle School after being alerted to a possible restraining order violation. Dixon was subsequently arrested and charged with a restraining order violation.
  • 412 Commonwealth Road; Dec. 16, 1:34 p.m. - A bone was found. See the article, "."
  • 37 Riverview Avenue; Dec. 16, 10:59 p.m. - Police arrested Jeury Medina, 24, of 129 West St., Apt. 2, in Hyde Park, Mass, after patrol officers observed two males sitting in a parked car. An investigation revealed neither party had a license to operate the vehicle, and the operator, Medina, had a suspended license. After transporting Medina to the station, officers recovered a small amount of cocaine  that Medina "attempted to discard prior to being booked," according to a press release. Charges include operating after suspension (subsequent offense) and possession of a Class B substance.
  • 29 Brooks Road; Dec. 18, 8:39 a.m. - Caller reported her car had been broken into.
  • 19 Rolling Lane; Dec. 8, 1:13 p.m. - Caller reported vandalism to his vehicle.
  • 114 Boston Post Road; Dec. 18, 5:20 p.m. - Car vs. bicycle accident. Bicyclist transported via Medflight with non life-threatening injuries.
  • 11 Caulfield Road; Dec. 19, 11:14 a.m. - Motor vehicle breaking and entering reported.
  • 179 Commonwealth Road; Dec. 19, 3:45 p.m. - Hit-and-run of motor vehicle vs. building.
  • 10 Shore Drive; Dec. 19, 8:52 p.m. - Report of a dog stuck between a chain link fence and a brick wall.
  • 10 Essex; Dec. 19, 10:29 p.m. - Caller reported a "suspicious object in the sky."
