Wayland Police Log: Two Arrests Over Holiday Weekend (Dec. 22-27)

  • 35 Main Street; Dec. 22, 2:53 p.m. - Caller reported another driver her blocked her car and wouldn't move, claiming the caller took her parking spot.
  • 13 Grace Road; Dec. 22, 3:57 p.m. - Possible larceny of a Rolex watch reported.
  • 16 Gray Birch Lane; Dec. 23, 1:15 p.m. - Motor vehicle breaking and entering reported.
  • Old Connecticut Path and Cochituate Road; Dec. 23, 5:18 p.m. - Arrest of Michael Searl, 27, of 333 Millham St., in Marlborough following a motor vehicle accident at the intersection. Officers responded to the scene of the accident and after an investigation, according to a police press release, Searl was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and a right of way violation.
  • 54 Orchard Lane; Dec. 24, 8:31 p.m. - Caller reported hearing gunshots.
  • No address available; Dec. 25, 10:04 a.m. - James Deveney Jr., 43, of 18 Rockwood Terrace, Jamaica Plain, was place under arrest and charged with domestic assault and battery and vandalism.
  • 6 Sedgemeadow Road; Dec. 25, 11:53 a.m. - Larceny of jewelry reported.
