Wayland Police Log: Suspicious Kite String and Dogs at a Bus Stop (Jan. 18-24)

- Pelham Island Road; Jan. 17, 9:25 p.m. - Report of a possible brush fire. Confirmed as a cooking fire that was extinguished.
- 80 Concord Road; Jan. 18, 3:34 a.m. - Car accident involving a pole. NSTAR notified; pole split in half.
- 30 Brook Trail Road; Jan. 19, 2:39 p.m. - School bus company called to report two dogs were chasing students at the bus stop.
- 45 West Plain Street; Jan. 19, 4:27 p.m. - Caller reported a child shooting a BB gun. Officer Bowles responded and found a child with an Air Soft Gun.
- 127 Boston Post Road; Jan. 23, 8:23 a.m. - Arrest of Matthew Allison, 28, of 25 Briarwood Lane in Marlborough. Arrest for driving on a revoked license.
- 10 Brooks Road; Jan. 24, 6:20 a.m. - Caller reported what they suspected to be a low-hanging wire; it was determined to be a kite string hanging from the trees.
- 44 Pequot Road; Jan. 24, 1:06 p.m. - Arrested Scott Dixson, 45, of 16 Church St., in Douglas, on a warrant. Editor's Note: Patch was contacted regarding the exact address for this incident. Wayland Police have verified the original address listed in their log was incorrect. The address now listed here has been corrected.
