Wayland Police Log: An Arrest, A Residential Break-In and Late-Night Power Washing (Nov. 15-21)

- 357 Commonwealth Road; Nov. 15, 8:05 a.m. - Motor vehicle accident involving a deer.
- 63 Claypit Hill Road; Nov. 15, 9:12 a.m. - Larceny of a pocketbook from a residence reported.
- 24 Rice Road; Nov. 15, 10:26 a.m. - Found billfold reported.
- 101 Plain Road; Nov. 15, 10:29 a.m. - Caller reported an unknown person rang the door and left the driveway in a gold minivan. The minivan was located at 105 Plain Road and was determined to be a Jehovah's Witness.
- 203 Trout Brook Road; Nov. 15, 12:04 p.m. - Caller reported a residential breaking and entering upon returning home. Caller found two computers and "possibly other items missing," according to the log. A possible suspicious vehicle is described as an "older-model Saab 900 Series with a dent in the rear." A possible suspect is described as a white male, 5 foot 7 inches tall.
- 128 Commonwealth Road; Nov. 16, 5:30 p.m. - Caller reported a pothole in the roadway. Cones were placed in the area.
- 63 Pequot Road; Nov. 17, 1:07 p.m. - Principal at Happy Hollow requested to speak with an officer after finding an owner's manual for a paintball gun.
- 116 Main Street; Nov. 18, 12:07 a.m. - Caller complained of person power washing equipment behind the building. Officer said individuals were finishing cleaning.
- 38 Cochituate Road; Nov. 20, 9:04 p.m. - Arrest of Deborah Downs, 42, of 9 Village Rock Lane Apt. 4 in Natick. Downs was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol (2nd offense), an open container in the motor vehicle and operating a vehicle negligently.
- 31 Main Street; Nov. 21, 11:25 a.m. - A trash truck reportedly struck wires and the traffic signal at the intersection of Routes 27 and 30. .
