Wayland Sophomore Takes Business to Boston Startup Accelerator
The student's business, Stokes all Natural Firestarters, sells firestarters made from recycled materials.

WAYLAND, MA — A Wayland High School student will compete with more than 100 other businesses as part of this year's MassChallenge Boston startup accelerator.
Adam Liszewski, the founder and CEO of Stokes All Natural Firestarters, started his business in when he saw a problem with conventional firestarters. They weren't chemical-free and they didn't always work.
Now he's taking his all-natural firestarters made from recycled materials to MassChallenge Boston, to compete for $1.5 million in funding, reported the Wayland Town Crier.

“I could not be more excited to be part of the Mass. Challenge accelerator program. STOKES is at a point where we are in over 360 stores in eight states and need help scaling to the next level. The accelerator will be a great help to my achieving the next level of goals for my company,” Liszewski told The Town Crier.
While Liszewski competes in MassChallenge Boston he will also have access to office space and the ability to network with other entrepreneurs and investors, reported The Town Crier.
