Wayland Student Raising Money for Kids With Cancer
Issabella Carrera is raising money for Lucy's Love Bus.

An 11-year-old Wayland girl is refusing to let her experience being teased at school defeat her.
Isabella Carrera, according to a WCVB report, is donating locks of her hair help create wigs for kids with cancer. So far, she has raised more than $7,000 for Lucy's Love Bus, a non-profit that provides comfort to kids afflicted with cancer.
Issi took up the cause after reading a Boston Globe story about a young girl with cancer, according to Issi's Web site. Issi told WCVB she the teasing she experienced paled compared to kids suffering from cancer.
