Wayland Summer Farmers' Market Opens
The opening of the season is Wednesday, June 28.
WAYLAND, MA–It's one of the best farmers' markets around, featuring vendors peddling everything from local cheeses to meats and vegetables or jams and honey.
Opening Day of the Wayland Summer Farmers' Market is Wednesday, June 28. The Market takes place in the front parking lot of Russell's Garden Center from noon to 5 p.m. every Wednesday through Oct. 11.
Purchase fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, mushrooms, ice cream, seafood, maple products, cheese, pickles, hot sauce, baked goods, pasta, pet treats and lemonade. Bring your knives and garden tools for sharpening from On the Edge Knife Sharpening and talk to the Assabet Village Co-op Market about their plans to start a locally-sourced market.
