Wayland Votes in Massachusetts State Primary
Know your candidates, and voting information for Tuesday's primary.

On Tuesday, Massachusetts voters head out to the polls for the state’s primary election.
The democratic ballots across the state include: Edward Markey (incumbent) for senate; Martha Coakley, Steven Grossman and Donald Berwick competing for governor; Michael Lake, Stephen Kerrigan and Leland Cheung battling for lt. governor; Maura Healey against Warren Tolman for attorney general; Thomas Conroy, Deborah Goldberg and Barry Finegold for treasurer; and Suzanne Bump for auditor (incumbent).
Democrats will also pick U.S. house representatives, governors’ council candidates, state senate and house representatives, district attorney and register of probate.

Opposed races in Wayland include democrats Catherine Clark and Sheldon Schwartz battling to run for representative in the 5th District, and Dylan Hayre and Sara Lynn Reynolds hoping for a state senator run.
Republican ballots across the state show: Brian Herr for U.S. senator; Charlie Baker and Mark Fisher vying for governor; Karyn Polito for lieutenant governor; David D’Arcangelo for secretary of state; John Miller for attorney general; Michael James Heffernan for treasurer; and Patricia Saint Aubin running for auditor.

Republicans also have candidates running for U.S. house, state house and senate, district attorney, governor’s council and register of probate.
There are no opposed local races for republicans in Wayland.
