The WWRA is a not-for-profit educational organization and receives much of its funding from participation fees and donations at no cost to the towns. Participants in WWRA programs benefit from the enthusiasm and support of the Recreation Departments and Commissions of Wayland and Weston, school and other town departments, the state Department of Conservation and Recreation, along with parents, alumni and friends. WWRA aspires to foster community spirit by bringing together neighbors to enjoy a shared interest.
