Wayland Winter Farmers' Market Hosts Farm Fiber Days

The Wayland Winter Farmers' Market will conduct Farm Fiber Days on January 28 and March 4.

The Wayland Winter Farmers' Market is off to a lively start. The first of our two Farm Fiber Days is Saturday, January 28th from 10 AM to 2 PM. (The second date is March 4) There will be over 40 food vendors attending alongside more than 20 fiber vendors. A vendor list is included in our weekly email:
Talented local farmers, who produce yarn, top, roving and finished fiber products from their own animals, will join us. Additional vendors include dyers of locally sourced fiber. Visit angora bunnies from Winterberry Farm and watch spinning wheel demonstrations with Carol Tripp of Windy Hill Farm and sock making machine demonstrations by Subito Farm. Join us in the Fiber Lounge where you can relax and knit or spin from 10 to 1. At 2 PM Alasdair Post-Quinn will teach an "Introduction to Double-Knitting Class". He will also be signing his new book, Double or Nothing: Reversible Knitting for the Adventurous.
The Market takes place at Russell’s Garden Center, 397 Boston Post Road (Rt. 20), Wayland, Massachusetts. Market hours are 10 AM to 2 PM.

The Market runs through Saturday, March 11.
