Wayland's Next Tax Rate, And Its Fiscal Effect on Taxpayers

The Board of Selectmen is holding a public hearing on Monday, Nov. 30, in the Wayland Town Building, 41 Cochituate Road at 7:15 p.m.

At the meeting, the Board of Assessors present data relative to the setting of the tax rate, including the fiscal effect on taxpayers, for the different classifications of properties in Wayland.

In addition, said the press release, town officials responsible for preparing the tax recapitulation sheet for submission to the State Department of Revenue review the sheet and answer questions from the public concerning the proposed tax rate.

If residents are unable to attend the hearing in person, written opinions may be sent to the Board of Selectmen, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA, 01778, or by email to selectmen@wayland.ma.us, prior to Nov. 30.
