Weekly Question: Who is Wayland's Best Pet?

Do you have more photos of your pets than you do of your kids? Do you talk about your pet like a member of the family? Do you KNOW your pet is the best one around?

It's time to put your understandable bias to the test.

We're looking for Wayland's best pet, and we need your help.

There are two steps to this Weekly Question, and we need you to do both:

1. In the comments section below, tell us your pet's name and why you think he/she deserves the title of Wayland's Best Pet. It could be as simple as, "He's the friendliest parakeet you'll ever meet," or as complex as, "In the winter of 2010, she heard tiny cries coming from the snow-covered woodpile behind our home..." You get the idea.

2. Now we need to see your famous pet. Upload a photo of your pet to this article (Pick the cutest photo you have, of course). Just click the Upload Photos & Videos button. Put your pet's name in the caption so we know whose furry face we're seeing. We got you started with an image of the Wayland Patch mascot (and yes, we do think he's the best).

So go ahead and get to showing off your awesome pets. And remember to think outside the furry pets box -- we don't discriminate here at Patch. Fur, feathers, scales, quills ... whatever, they're all in the running to be named Wayland's Best Pet.
