What Is Working, And Not, In Wayland Town Government?

Wayland's Board of Selectmen have scheduled a series of informal meetings for residents to attend.

WAYLAND, MA — The Board of Selectmen are inviting residents to attend an informal meeting to talk about what is working and not working in town government.

"While the schools are part of the town, they are not the subject of these meetings," said the announcement. "A standard set of questions will be discussed at each facilitator-led meeting. They include your experience with town departments, what has worked well and what could be improved, and how town government can best communicate with you. The comments, suggestions, and ideas gathered from each meeting will be compiled and the report will help to guide future actions the board might take."

A number of meetings will be held over a three to four week period so you can choose to attend one that is convenient. The meetings are accessible and open to the public and will last about 1 and a half hours. It is requested that each meeting be attended by 10 to 15 people so that participants have ample time to share their views.
