Whiz Kids: Musicians on Stage
These seven Wayland residents will be performing a variety of music.

- Names: Timothy Barns (trumpet); Patricia Chen (piano); Kara Chuang (flute); Rachel Hawley (bass); Andrew Laven (cello); Victor Li (piano); and Stephanie Steltzer (marimba)
- Schools: Various
- Accomplishment: These Wayland musicians are part of The Rivers School Conservatory's 34th Annual Seminar on Contemporary Music for the Young on Saturday, April 28 and Sunday, April 29 from 1 p.m.–6 p.m. both days.
- Key to Awesomeness: These students have been tapped to perform a variety of musical pieces all composed within the past 25 years. Barns and Chen will be performing world premieres and have been coached by professional Boston-based composers. The program encompasses six concerts over the course of the two days and will feature chamber, orchestral, solo and choral music
Tickets are $10 for adults; children and students are free.
