Young Man From Wayland Found Dead In Amherst Over Weekend
Cameron Tredgett was a member of Wayland High School's class of 2016.

WAYLAND, MA—A young man from Wayland died over the weekend on a street in Amherst, according to multiple reports.
The Amherst Wire is reporting that Cameron Tredgett died sometime late Friday night or early Saturday morning, and that a spokesperson for the Northwestern District Attorney's office said the unattended death was a "noncriminal matter." Tredgett, according to WaylandeNews was a member of the Wayland High School class of 2016.
The death occurred on Fearing Street early Saturday morning, around 2:30 a.m., reports the Daily Hampshire Gazette, noting that the street is a busy pedestrian walkway late into the night with college-age people.

UMass Amherst told Western Mass. News that the man was not one of their students, and it was not on campus, nor is it known the person's relationship, if any, to the college.
A remembering Cameron Tredgett Facebook page was created, and friends and family flooded his page with memories and tributes and words of support for the family.
