2. Wellesley All Board Meeting brings who's who of town leaders together to look ahead (theswellesleyreport.com) — Wellesley officials just previewed the FY28 budget, warning that rising union, health insurance, and software costs could limit new programs and keep cash-capital spending tight. Residents should also watch for potential 15% water and 4% sewer rate hikes, plus big capital decisions ahead on school facilities, road work like Great Plain Avenue, and a future Wellesley Square revamp.

3. Wellesley family grows spectacular flowers and tomatoes and gives them away to build community (cbsnews.com) — A Wellesley family is turning their front yard into a neighborhood gathering spot by giving away armfuls of dahlias and up to 40 pounds of tomatoes a day. 4. Marathon Sports Named in The Where Business Running Shoe Ranking (citybuzz.co) — Marathon Sports, which opened its second store in Wellesley back in 1994, has been ranked the top place to buy running shoes by The Where Business. The New England chain earned praise for its detailed in-store fitting process, flexible worn-shoe return policy, and convenient access, all of which benefit local runners who shop at the Wellesley location or nearby stores.
