10 Seats Open For Upcoming Town Election

Several incumbents are up for re-election and two positions have vacancies waiting to be filled.

WESTBOROUGH, MA- Westborough's annual town election is coming up in March and there are ten positions up for grabs, with several incumbents defending their place on the ballot.

Here are the open positions:

Two spots are open for the Board of Selectmen, which is a three year position. Candidates who have already pulled papers include: Leigh Emery (incumbent), Bruce Tretter (incumbent) and Allen Falcon Edinberg.

Two spots are open for School Committee, a three year term. Candidates who have already pulled papers include: Stephen Doret (incumbent) and Sara Dullea (incumbent).

Three spots are open for Trustees of the Public Library, this is a three year position. Candidates who have already pulled papers include: Edward Baldwin (incumbent), Kathleen Daly (incumbent) and Mary Ellen Johnston (incumbent).

One spot is available for the housing authority, which is currently vacant but is a five year term and a position under the same department that is a four year term.
