Edith J. Hogan, 97, passed away Friday, March 23. She was the wife of the late William J. Hogan. Born in Vermont, she graduated from the Westborough State Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at the hospital for many years prior to her retirement. She was active in and a former member of the Westborough Woman’s Club. Edith is survived by two sons, two daughters-in-law, one sister, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her funeral Mass will be Friday, March 30 at 10 a.m. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St. Burial will follow in . Calling hours at the , 4 Church St., are Thursday, March 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Luke the Evangelist Church Memorial Fund, 70 West Main St., Westborough, MA 01581

Rita Margaret (Duffy) Smith, 91, of Westborough, died March 24. She was married to the late Paul Albert Smith, Sr. A town native, Rita was a 1938 graduate of She was active in St. Luke’s Church, where she served as Eucharistic Minister, taught religious education, participated in the women’s club and senior group, and volunteered for the Ministry of the Sick. She was a longtime member of the Democratic Town Committee. Rita’s family includes seven children, 21 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Rita’s funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 29, at 10 a.m. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St. Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery. Calling hours at the Britton-Summers Funeral Home, 4 Church St., are Wednesday, March 28, from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rita's memory can be made to St. Luke the Evangelist Church Memorial Fund.

Dorothea M. “Dot” Tetreault, 96, of Westborough, passed away Thursday, March 22. She was the wife of the late William J. Tetreault. Born in Westborough, she was employed as a bookkeeper for Bay State Abrasives for 25 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Dot is survived by one daughter, Virginia Toomey and her husband, William, of Berlin; one son, Richard Tetreault and his wife, Jill, of Worcester; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late William Tetreault. Her funeral service was held Monday, March 26. Burial followed in Donations in her memory may be made to the Friends of the Westborough Senior Center, PO Box 1072, Westborough or to the Westborough Fire/Ambulance Gift Fund, 42 Milk St.
