1 Dead, 5 Injured in Overnight Pike Crash
State Police say four were ejected in a single-vehicle crash.

A woman is dead and five others injured after an overnight single-vehicle crash on the Mass. Pike in Westborough, State Police said.
Police say the deceased victim was 26-year-old woman from Spencer.
At approximately 1:30 a.m. Saturday, a 20-year-old Worcester man was driving a 2005 Mercury Mountaineer westbound when he apparently lost control, drove off the road, and struck a rock ledge. The driver and three of the five other passengers were ejected from the vehicle. One of the four ejected, the woman from Spencer, landed in the road and was struck by multiple vehicles. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

The other five initially in the car were transported to UMass Medical Center with serious injuries. They were only identified as: 20-year-old Worcester man (driver); 18-year-old female from Shrewsbury; 21-year-old male from Charlton; 35-year-old male from Spencer; 36-year-old male from Worcester.
