5 Things to Know Today: Feb. 14

Hopefully, you remembered that it's Valentine's Day today... just sayin.'

1. Today is Valentine’s Day. According to the US Census Bureau, the median age of a first marriage in America is 28.2 years old for men and 26.1 years old for women. (That statistic is provided as an interesting love fact, not to suggest that you run out and get married today.)     ;)

2. The girls’ varsity basketball team is hosting Hudson High School tonight in the high school auditorium. Game time is 7 p.m. Share a romantic night out with your sweetie, rooting for the Rangers. Go Rangers!

3. Today is National Donor Day. This observance was started in 1998 as a way to educate Americans about organ donation. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and many nonprofit health organizations are encouraging Americans to consider giving the gift of life this Valentine’s Day.

4. The Westborough High School boys’ varsity ice hockey team is taking on Gardner High School tonight at 7:10 p.m. at . Go Rangers!
